Oaklands Lake is a magnificent 4.5 acre man-made lake situated just outside the town of New Ross.
Lochmahon Fishing Lakes, Adamstown, comprises three spring fed lakes stocked with rainbow and brown trout.

Courtown Sailing Club

Courtown Sailing Club has grown from a small group of sailing enthusiasts to an active and popular watersports habour featuring cruiser and dinghy races, childrens sailing lessons.

Diving

The two main dive sites off the Wexford coast are off Kilmore Quay and Hook Head, both of which are spectacular diving locations. Kilmore Quay in particular has several wrecks including the SS Lennox which went down in 1917 after hitting a rock fleeing a U-boat! Kilmore Quay Marina and Fishing Port

Kitesurfing

Qualified IKO instructors can teach you to kitesurf or powerkite on some of the best beaches in the South East of Ireland.The majority of kitesurfing lessons take place in the beautiful Rosslare Strand or the shallow flat water of Duncannon Co.Wexford overlooking the Hook Head peninsula. Feeling adventurous? At Shielbaggan Outdoor Education Centre, you can try your hand at kayaking (white water, sea and flat water), canoeing (white water and flat water, coasteering, surfing, hillwalking, rock-climbing, abseiling, archery, orienteering, and team challenges. Slaney Adventure

Slaney Adventure was established by Justin & Avril Murphy. Both are level 4 kayak instructors. They are experienced alpine white water paddlers and ran several commercial trips to the French Alps.

Slaney Adventure run kids summer camps for the months of July/ August.
Adult evening session every Wednesday for June/ July/ August.

Wexford Harbour Boat and Tennis Club

Wexford Harbour Boat and Tennis Club promotes sailing and boating by giving training courses in the Clubhouse so that members and visitors alike can safely take part in and enjoy on-the-water sports. Most of the courses are approved by the parent body of sailing, the Irish Sailing Association.
