Tablecloth Healing Project with Josephine Whitmore and Womens Collective at Sigginstown Castle August 20 12 pm
Join the Women’s Collective Ireland and Textile Artist Josephine Whitmore as they show and tell their current project. For ten weeks the ladies are meeting in Sigginstown Castle to collaboratively create a tablecloth reflecting healing from grief. Josephine is an Artist in the Community and she facilitates the sessions as the women work on this large heirloom linen tablecloth, turning it into art.
This event takes place from 12-1 pm. in the Coach House Cafe, which will be open for beverages and homemade cakes from 12-5 p.m. You can take an optional guided tour (separate ticket) of the 16th century tower and castle at 12:30 or 2:30 pm. on the same day.
Please do not turn down the Cul-De-Sac road or use Eircode as you will need to turn around. The main gate will be open which is on the Norman Way – use Google Maps for “Sigginstown Castle”.
