Relay For Life

Relay For Life is coming back to Wexford at Pairc Charman on July 29th - July 30th!

What is Relay For Life?
It is a massive, family-friendly, community event that celebrates cancer survivors, remembers those we've lost to the disease, and encourages the community to fight back! We raise vital funds for the Irish Cancer Society and to help fund cancer research for a cure.

Relay For Life is a team fundraising event where team members take turns walking around the track. Each event is 24 hours in length and each team is asked to have a member on the track at all times to signify that cancer never sleeps. Cancer patients don't stop because they're tired, and for one night, neither do we.

Each team sets up a themed campsite at the event and continues their fundraising efforts by collecting donations through food, goods, games, and activities. This money will count towards their overall team fundraising goal.

We are currently looking for teams of at least 10 to 15 people to take part in this special event. We are also looking for anyone who has ever heard the words "you have cancer," to come along and take part as a survivor.

How to get involved?
If you would like to set up a team or if you have ever heard the words "you have cancer," email us at relayforlifewexford@gmail.com or visit us on Facebook.

Celebrate. Remember. Fight Back!
