Open Day at Artramon Farm
Interest in the annual open day at Artramon House & Gardens is, like last year, off the scale. The landmark Georgian structure, one of Wexford’s finest, is situated between Crossabeg and Castelbridge (Y35 PNF7) with stunning front-row views over the Slaney Estuary. And not only do visitors get to imagine themselves lords and ladies of the manor, they can wander, at their ease, along the extensive garden walks while being serenaded by local singers, musicians dancers and mummers. And yes, there will be refreshments. One curiosity to watch out for is the classic TMC car manufactured in Castlebridge by Thompson Brothers. Adm €5.
