Jams and chutneys made by Wild About, Our Back Garden and Wexford Home Preserves are always lovely presents to buy. Definitely chocolates by our two Wexford chocolatiers, Zaeire and Bean & Goose. If you want to bring home a true taste of Wexford, why not a bottle of blackcurrant cordial by Naturally Cordial or Mr Jeffares – Naturally Cordial makes a tasty strawberry and raspberry cordial as well. A jar of true Wexford honey is a rare commodity if you can get your hands on a few. Do not forget about our great craft local beers by Yellow Belly, Clever Man and Arthurstown Brewing Company – Yellow Belly sell their beer in cans if you are worried about glass been broken during transit. Opened in April 2015, Ronan’s Full & Plenty Farm Shop in New Ross quickly became Wexford’s best grocery supporting over sixty Wexford food and drink producers alone plus lots more from neighbouring counties. They also source the best of what’s available further afield, like beautiful and fragrant unwaxed lemons, limes and oranges, and luscious French grapes and figs in the autumn. Seasonality plays a huge part of what you can find in the grocery at any given time.
Jolly Ronan who runs the shop loves to showcase what Wexford has to offer first and foremost. She is very enthusiastic about her producers and knows many of them personally. If you have a question about Wexford’s food and agriculture, do not be afraid to ask. They stock a full range of groceries from seasonal fruit and vegetables, cereals, dried goods, breads and cakes, cured meats, yogurts, raw milk, everything you would expect in an old-fashioned grocery store. They have a lovely little deli as well selling Irish farmhouse cheeses, many cut to order and freshly made salads too, inspired by what the producers have delivered that day.

Situated in Killinick village, just off the main Rosslare road and 10 minutes from Wexford town, this charming speciality food store and café is very popular with locals and holiday makers alike. Purveyors of fresh local produce and Irish artisan products, Karoo is a charming French-style food store and café which offers a wonderful selection of fresh home-baked breads, cakes and tarts as well as speciality cakes for birthdays and special occasions. Karoo also specialises in delicious Gluten free cakes and food products.
The store is jam-packed with locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables, vinegars, oils, fresh Irish meat and smoked fish, and a great deli with farmhouse cheeses, cold meats, pesto, and olives. You can buy Wexford produce like Featherbed Farm Ice Cream, Killowen yogurt, Zaeire Chocolates, Wexford Home Preserves and Fancy Fungi Mushrooms.

A much loved store by locals and visitors to Gorey, Myles Doyle Select Grocer is a long-established business which has developed a reputation over the last 50 years for its warm and friendly service. Established in 1966, Myles Doyle Select Grocer is located in the premises originally owned by Mylie’s cousin, Alice Kirwan who’s family ran a butcher’s shop up to 1956. Mylie Doyle inherited the shop premises from his cousin and opened his grocery store in February, 1966, a business he was very familiar with having worked for many years in Graham’s Pub & Grocery [now Bob’s Bar] on the main street of Gorey. Mylie was a well-known and much loved character in the area who continued to work behind the counter until shortly before his death in January 2014. Now Mylie’s son, John, runs the store with his wife Breda. John has been working here since leaving school and continues the tradition of his father’s shop in stocking the best of Irish artisan products.
Here you will find a superb range of Wexford and Irish produce like Bean & Goose chocolates, Meadowfield goat milk, Fairfield cow’s milk, Killowen Yogurt, Irish farmhouse cheeses like Carrigbyrne Cheese, Lismore biscuits, local honey, jams and chutneys plus an excellent selection of fine wines. Both John and Breda are very knowledgeable of the Gorey and the surrounding area, so do not hesitate to ask for recommendations or information.

Located just outside Wexford town, this farm shop was setup up by Kate and Ollie O’ Mahoney in 2005 having spent fifteen years in fruit and vegetable wholesale. Over the years, they have built a strong and loyal customer base by providing the best ingredients from local growers, bakers and producers. Kate and Ollie are big believers in supporting local businesses and their community and have grown their much loved business on this philosophy.
Here, you will find a lot of Irish ingredients on their shelves from Wexford and neighbouring counties. Produce like Wexford Cheddar, Killowen Yogurt, Naturally Cordial, Isle of Crackers, Zaire Chocolates, Wild About chutneys, O’Neill’s Dry Cure Bacon and delicious salads by Trudie’s Kitchen.

Green Acres of Wexford is situated in a beautiful 1800s listed building in the heart of Wexford town on Selskar square. Spread across three floors, you will discover a retail store on the ground floor with a deli, bakery, wine shop and a café with a restaurant and art gallery on the floors above.
The grocery is well-stocked with a wide range of produce from the region plus a superb selection from around the world. You will find Wexford produce like Ballycross apples and apple juice, Yellow Belly beer, Carrigbyrne cheese, Killowen yogurt, Wild About chutneys and Ballyhack Smoked Salmon. A trip here will not disappoint. They are particularly known for their wine knowledge, stocking over hundreds of wines from around the world.
