Culture
- Music Generation is a national music education programme whose mission is to empower children and young people to realise their full potential through access to, and participation in, high quality performance music education.
- Together, we strive to transform children and young people’s lives by giving them opportunities to create, play and perform music in their own communities and on their own terms.
- Music Generation Wexford has a team of nineteen excellent musician educators who work across forty five locations with over 4000 young people – who also attend team meetings and professional development workshops to develop their skills on a regular basis alongside delivering workshops for the programme.
- Music Generation Wexford uses key parameters for performance music education: creativity, inclusivity and engagement . This requires a child-centred approach to learning.
