Wexford Arts Centre HALLOWEEN BALL

Welcome to the 666th Halloween Ball at the Wexford Arts Centre. For this year’s offering, the ceremonial key is handed over to the paws and claws of adolescents from the Persons Unknown collective. They will do their utmost to scare the living nightlights out of everyone! Only the most vigorously raucous music and audience spectacle will suffice. For this purpose, the fiendish vanguard of VAMPIRE, THE MABLES, ABI’S CRASH VERSE, BAGGLES & BUTCH, and THE ZONAI has been chosen to entertain and keep all sorts of evil spirits at bay. So, it is essential that you join in full costume for a garish and ghoulish night of fun and fright.

VAMPIRE is a bone-chilling screamer and demon-taught to play guitar. He excels in a most black-hearted song writing art, tales of unadulterated horror and the odd dabbling in deaths most gruesome.

THE MABELS are a Wexford 4-piece girl band comprised of Hannah Redmond, Leah Pierce, Willow King and Katie Dryburgh who met in the truly terrifying shadows of secondary school and have been playing together since 2024.

ABI’S CRASH VERSE is the best kept secret from Wexford and, for the first time, will be presented to an unsuspecting audience on the evening itself.

BAGGLES & BUTCH were bothered and bewildered after their release from the dungeon of Ballinteer and the lock-up and lock-ins of Westmoreland Street. They return to Wexford armed to their teeth with their fast paced and bone-crushing punk songs about the things that have let them down or annoyed them over the years.

THE ZONAI were born in Wexford from bolts, tubes, wiring, and lightning. Their sole purpose is to make any and all mildew-riddled and stale punks trapped in some gruesome purgatory of conformity to revolt again.
