This Halloween season, the Wells Witches and their spooky friends have returned to the estate — and they’re ready to welcome all brave visitors to their magical woodland haven! 

Hidden deep within the Arboretum, you’ll discover the witches’ homes, step into a world of wonder, meet mischievous characters, cast spells, and enjoy a truly spooktacular experience the whole family will love.

After your enchanted adventure, hop aboard the Wells Express for a thrilling train ride through the estate, ending at our Pumpkin Patch, where every child gets to pick their perfect pumpkin to take home and carve!

Please note: This is a ticketed event, separate from general Wells House & Gardens entry. Early booking is highly recommended — these witches are popular!

As this is an outdoor experience, come dressed for the weather, wear your best costumes, and don’t forget your wellies — you never know what the witches have brewed up in the woods!
