Located on the banks of the picturesque River Slaney, ‘The Irish National Heritage Park’ truly is the cornerstone of ‘Ireland’s Ancient East’.
An outdoor museum depicting 9,000 years of re-created Irish History situated within natural forestry & wet woodlands. Take an unforgettable journey through Ireland’s past and experience stories, sights and sounds that shaped our country. The world you enter is an authentic recreation of Ireland’s heritage. Homesteads, places of ritual, burial modes and long forgotten remains will enlighten the casual visitor and interest the scholar.

Onsite, The Park boasts the award winning ‘Fulacht Fiadh Restaurant’. Our friendly staff are always ready to give you a warm welcome and a hearty meal. Serving traditional home cooked meals, light bites, desserts and specialty teas & coffees there is something to suit every palate. A visit to the Irish National Heritage Park is like no other you can imagine.
An array of interesting and entertaining guided tours are available.
The Irish National Heritage Park is located just 30 minutes from Rosslare Europort and approximately an hour from the historic cities of Waterford & Kilkenny.
Facilities include FREE car parking on site, mobility scooter hire, changing facilities and Bureau de Change.
Visitors with dogs will have to keep their dog on a lead at all times and will have to carry waste bags to clean up after their dog. Dogs are not allowed in the café or falconry centre.
As per Covid Guidelines, the park will be back to normal opening times from the 1st of May. However, we are operating with limited availability each day to ensure social distancing is maintained. Please book your visit ahead of time. The Restaurant is open for takeaway tea, coffee and treats.
