Rosslare Strand SummerFest

This year’s SummerFest takes place on Sunday 26th July and with a little luck, a fair wind, and several novenas the sun will make an appearance and shine on the proceedings.  That seemed to work for us last year so we’re applying the same strategy for 2026.

We aim to bring you a family day out, offering something for all the family against a background of music and laughter; the sports enthusiasts, the browsers and the shoppers, the sweet (and savoury!) toothed, and of course the disco dancers that live inside all of us, just wating for a chance to shine.

No family day out is complete without our four-legged companions and our Annual Dog Show takes place during the course of the day.

Gates open at 11am, with clouds parting and sunlight arriving at 10.45 – see you there!

All the favourites will feature; the Dog Show, children’s rides and games, dance and music performances. We are also welcoming a wide range of local creative talents; art, photography, jewellery and woodcraft to name just a few. 

There will be food stalls, BBQ, Cheese & Wine, and a DJ!
