RNLI 200 – concert

RNLI 200 – A Celebration of Volunteers, Their Families, and the Community. This special one-night-only event is more than just a show; it’s a tribute to the courageous volunteers who crew the boats, the families who stand steadfastly behind them, and the communities that rally in support. Through captivating performances spanning song, dance, spoken word, and video presentations, we’ll honour the foundation of the RNLI and relive epic rescues along the South East of Ireland.

Featuring a line-up of 15 acts, RNLI 200 promises to showcase the finest talents from local, national, and international stages. Among the performers are beloved local artists such as George Lawlor, Tony Carty, and Chris Currid, alongside the infectious energy of The Craic Pots and the grace of the Wexford School of Ballet and Performing Arts and Dara Pierce Ballet Academy. Renowned pipe player Mark Redmond and tenor Glenn Murphy will add their mesmerizing talents to the mix, under the expert baton of composer Liam Bates.

Guest stars include The Sea of Change Choir, fresh from their sold-out performance at the National Concert Hall, and Celtic Thunder star Ryan Kelly and Chloe Agnew of Celtic Woman, with more special guests to be announced in the coming weeks. This extraordinary event will be hosted by non other than West End leading lady and TV personality Sharon Clancy.

Produced by Wexford-based Seanchai Productions Ltd, the creative minds behind Wexford’s Virtual St. Patrick’s Day and The Green Light Sessions in 2021, RNLI 200 promises an unforgettable evening of entertainment for a worthy cause. Proceeds from the event will go to support the vital work of the RNLI.

This spectacular show would not be possible without the generous sponsorship of PTSB, E.P.A., KENT STAINLESS, and The Talbot Collection.
