Oyster Lane presents Moments from the Musicals in the National Opera House

Moments from the Musicals is a vibrant celebration of musical theatre, presented by Oyster Lane Theatre Group and coming to the stage of the National Opera House for three unforgettable nights.

Running from Wednesday 27th to Friday 29th May 2026, this concert-style production brings together some of the most loved and instantly recognisable songs ever written for the stage and screen. The programme features music from audience favourites including Sister Act, The Greatest Showman, Mamma Mia!, alongside a selection of timeless classics that appeal to all ages.

Performed by a talented cast of local performers, Moments from the Musicals focuses on great music delivered with energy, warmth and a real love for musical theatre. Expect uplifting ensemble numbers, powerful ballads and plenty of toe-tapping moments that will have audiences smiling from start to finish. The production is led by Choreographer Jonny Smith and Musical Director Yvette White, whose experience and attention to detail ensure a polished and engaging performance.

Guiding the audience through the evening is the ever-popular MC, Tony Carty, whose charm, humour and theatrical experience bring an extra spark and keep the show flowing effortlessly.
