“The Sinking of the Pomona Ship” is a talk given by Paul Byrne, County Wexford Historian in Residence.
Held in the “Waters of Wexford” exhibition, this captivating talk gives a deeper look into the famous shipwreck of the Pomona. Paul will bring history to life using items on display from the historical ship, including it’s figurehead and compass, as well as a wooden model of the ship showing it’s beauty before it’s tragic end.
