NINE BLUE HORSES
NINE BLUE HORSES — An Exhibition of New Work by Gilly Thomas
Venue: The Raven’s Nest Gallary at The Makers House, Crescent Quay, Wexford Y34YV25
Exhibition Run: 18th April – 17th May 2025
Known for her contemplative bronze sculptures that quietly honour the essence of animals, Gilly now takes a delightfully different turn. This exhibition features a series of playful horses, inspired by her Irish Draft, Colly, sculpted from recycled materials found around her studio – including egg boxes, wire, and wood. Each piece is painted in varying shades of ultramarine blue, full of texture, life and movement.
Opening Hours:
Monday, Wednesday–Saturday: 10am – 5pm
Sunday: 11am – 4pm
Closed Tuesdays
