MARITIME

MARITIME is the latest exhibition to be held in The Raven’s Nest Gallery in The Makers House.  Celebrating making art by the sea to coincide with the revival of Wexford Maritime Festival. As Wexford Makers it is not surprising that elements of coast, sea, seabirds, sea creatures, all things maritime inspires the work. And where better to show it than in this heavenly location right on the edge of Wexford Harbour. Any closer to the water and it would be floating!

 

What makes this exhibition a little different is that each artwork is accompanied by words of its Maker giving an insight into the maritime influences at play.

 

Come visit The Makers House and experience this selection of our Makers’ work which, seen side by side, reveal the quiet intersections that make The Makers House what it is: a place where individual practices flow together into something larger, richer and always evolving. The exhibition runs until 22nd June 2026.
