Killiane Castle Country House & Farm

Relax into the sumptuous luxury of Killiane Castle Country House and let the outside world just fade away. This 17th-century Country House exudes a relaxed atmosphere amidst its idyllic tranquil surroundings. A 15th-century Norman castle stands proudly alongside. The eight bedrooms are tastefully decorated in keeping with the grandeur of a 17th-century country house. Each room is designed for supreme comfort.  All modern conveniences, such as Wi-Fi, TV, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities, are available as standard.

 

 

Breakfast is a feast of home-baking. Wherever possible, we use fresh produce from our farm. This includes the farm’s very own eggs, sausages, bacon and seasonal ingredients from the garden. Exquisite honey comes from beehives on the grounds.  High-quality local producers supply the remaining ingredients that make up our breakfast buffet.

Alternatively, self-catering accommodation is available in the Courtyard Apartments.

 

The grounds are an oasis of calm and tranquillity. Sink into a deck chair and let the world go by. Bask in the sunshine in our beautiful gardens. Ramble down along the Farm Walking Trail through the old beech grove. Soak up the atmosphere of the peaceful countryside. If you are feeling more active, why not avail of some of the activities on offer? Killiane Castle is home to a golf pitch and putt course and driving range, a tennis court and a croquet lawn. Unique to the establishment is the adjoining fully intact Norman Castle built in the 1400s. Take some time out to explore the castle and its history. The views of Wexford from the top of the tower are spectacular!
