Four boys. Four stories. One truth. Meet four teenage boys—ordinary, funny, flawed, alive. This is a play about growing up. About wanting to be seen. Wanting to be heard. And sometimes… wanting to disappear.

You’ll meet them at 12. At 14. At 16. But not all of them at 18.

One of them won’t make it that far.

This is a raw, honest, and unexpectedly joyful show about friendship, masculinity, vulnerability, and the messy in-between. There’s music. There’s laughter. There’s dancing. And yes—there are moments that deal with suicide, sex, drugs, and all the things they never teach you in school.

We could call it a “trigger warning.” But that would make it sound like this play is just heavy.And it is heavy.

And it’s also really, really fun.

Written by Marnie Fay and based on transcripts, interviews, and real stories from a focus group of young people across Ireland, this play is unflinching, heartfelt, and deeply human. It offers a raw and necessary glimpse into what it’s like to grow up male in Ireland today.
