11.00am Fish Friday Market Opens and Cookery Demonstrations with our line up of top chefs! 


This market is all about the senses as you will have the opportunity to see, touch, taste, smell and hear all about Kilmore Quay’s freshest seafood.

The local fish processors have come together for another year to supply us with the freshest top quality seafood to sell at our 10th Fish Friday Market where you have the chance to buy a large variety of freshly landed fish at a fantastic low price.

Fish is one of our most treasured natural resources and we are very proud to of our fishing port and the quality and variety of species that are landed here on a weekly basis.


The Cookery Line up for 2019 is and amazing mix of styles with our dedicated Chefs Derry Clarke of L’Ecrivan, Paul Hynes of La Cote, Warren Gillen of Cistin Eile, Eugene O’Callaghan of Kellys Resort Hotel, Mariusz Wojcicki of Coast Hotel, Andre Mondonca of Wooden House Hotel and Nicky Cullen of Mary Barrys Seafood Bar.

 They will  be on hand  over the course of the day to cook up some delicious seafood dishes, demonstrating and sharing quick, simple ideas on how to transform a portion of fish into a delicious and nutritious meal. We are sure they will be sharing lots of their secrets with us here in the Marquee  – so come early to get your seat. 

There is a great feast of seafood available here in Kilmore Quay all summer in  all our local restaurants and bars. We are blessed with the high quality of our Restaurants throughout  Wexford.  Enjoy and  EAT MORE FISH!
