Festival of Ferns 2024

A 2 day festival over the June holiday weekend.   A festival of celebration, music and fun in the Ancient Capital of Leinster.  Showcasing its medieval heritage, events will include a festival parade – a real visual spectacle of colour and craic; music in the grounds of Ferns Castle and local pubs.  Fringe events include an exhibition of Norman names by local school children, games for kids, face painting and more.  Post parade festivities include a reenactment involving the newly crowned Gaelic King of Leinster and Norman knights, followed by local musicians and performers.
