Faythe Guesthouse
Faythe Guesthouse is a 10-bedroom 19th Century guesthouse in the heart of Wexford town, famed for its amazing breakfasts, friendly hosts and comfortable bedrooms. Within walking distance of Wexford’s shopping boutiques, restaurants and nightlife, this 3-star guesthouse is also convenient to the Rosslare Harbour and Dublin roads and offers private parking for guests.
Damien and Siobhan Lynch took over the reins of the celebrated Wexford Town guesthouse in 1994. The old period house built on the grounds of a former castle in Wexford town also holds the venerable title of the county’s oldest Guesthouse. Despite the challenges presented to the industry over the past number of years, the endearing couple are firmly forward focused and are ready to take this family business into the next phase, with tasteful modernisations of the 10-bedroom 19th Century accommodation.
Praised in reviews for being on hand to help guests find and book plenty of activities including tips on booking tours, dinners, events and beach outings. Foodies won’t be disappointed either; as Damien and Siobhan know a thing or two about fantastic dining – Expect freshly baked bread and cooked to order hearty breakfasts, all using local produce.
