Courtown Golf Club
Harbour Court, Courtown, County Wexford, Ireland
Courtown Golf Club is a challenging and yet picturesque golf course located 5 km from the North Wexford town of Gorey, and only an hour from South Dublin.
Founded in 1936 the golf course was originally 9 holes that were constructed on a piece of land that was once part of the old Courtown estate.
It was significantly upgraded to 18 holes in 1974 and today it offers visitors a glimpse of the South Irish Sea and the beautiful North Wexford coast as they journey around what has become a mature parkland course. With a testing par of 71, its 6000 metres in length meanders through tree lined fairways in a way that will test the accurate player, whilst punishing the wayward.
The comfortable and inviting clubhouse is a haven for visitors, whether they are golfing or not, and with a well-deserved reputation for the very finest cuisine and impeccable service, apres – golf at Courtown now rivals the golf itself.
If you have never visited the golf club, we hope you will, as we know you will enjoy the charm that is Courtown
