Seal Rescue Ireland, located in Courtown, County Wexford, is Ireland’s only dedicated seal rescue centre, -rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing sick, injured and orphaned seal pups from around our coastline.
Our award-winning Visitor Centre offers an unforgettable opportunity to learn about one of Ireland’s most iconic marine mammals. Through our engaging guided experiences, you’ll discover the lives of Ireland’s Grey and Common Seals, and the coastal habitats they call home, understand the challenges they face in the wild, and learn why healthy seal populations are so important to our marine ecosystems.
During your visit, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to our rehabilitation centre, where you’ll meet our seal patients in their kennels and rehabilitation pools. Hear the remarkable rescue stories behind each seal, and find out more about their journey from rescue through rehabilitation to their eventual return to the wild.
