Blackwater Open Farm is a family-run business located between the villages of Curracloe & Blackwater. We have a wide variety of domestic farm animals from Fallabella & Shetland ponies to Turkeys & everything in between! We cater for all kinds of parties, birthdays, christenings, communions, confirmations, hen’s parties, school tours, special needs groups, parent & toddler groups, walking groups & cyclists, with a wide variety of budgets catered for.

Our Café serves lots of home cooking & home baking along with barista style coffee, milkshakes, & ice creams. We have great value meal deals to include our authentic Italian sour dough pizzas.

Throughout the day there are a variety of organised activities to watch or join is with, handling the small animals, collecting the eggs, or even bottle feeding the lambs/goats. You can enjoy an informative guided tour of the farm, which offers information about the animals & the local history & geography. We also have lots of play areas for all age groups with no time limits.

Zipline, climbing frames, pedal go karting, indoor adventure playground, football pitch, tractor track,  and even a ‘Play town’!

Lots of handmade local crafts & reasonably priced gifts in our gift shop.

Dogs are welcome on a lead once the owner takes full responsibility for cleaning up should the dog foul.

The open farm has cement footpaths throughout for ease of access for wheelchairs & buggies.

In May we are open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, but throughout June, July and August we welcome visitors 7 days a week!
