Adamstown Agricultural Show 2020

Adamstown, County Wexford, Ireland

Preparations are in full swing for the 73rd annual Adamstown Show

The show, which takes place on Saturday, July 4th, is one of the highlights of the agricultural calendar.

Kicking off at 10 am, we are proud to have nearly 100 classes for Horses and Ponies its sure to be a great fun-filled day.

The agricultural, horticultural, arts, crafts, trade and vintage show is taking place on land donated by local families for which we are truly grateful and without the commitment from our volunteers, the show would not continue to go from strength to strength.

The show will feature all the usual horse, pony and sheep classes as well as showjumping. Our full schedule of classes is available online with entries closing Wednesday 24th June.

There are also numerous horticultural, home cooking, home industries, arts and crafts classes and a range of competitions for children to enter. This year we have introduced a number of Classes specifically for Special Needs.

Vintage enthusiasts will flock to Adamstown to see the large entry of vintage tractors and machinery which will be on display during the day.

Other highlights include a dog show which takes place at 2 pm on the day and trade stands.

There is also a limited number of children’s amusements, an animal pet’s corner, traditional butter making and lots more. There will be refreshments served all day at the show making it a perfect family day out.
