A Climate Action Discussion

Wexford Town Library, Mallin Street, Ferrybank South, Wexford, Ireland

Join Dr. Cara Augustenborg, Dr. Jonathan Derham and Dr Karl Richards at Wexford Library to learn more about the issues facing us now as we confront climate change.

They will talk about how we in society can help limit the changes to our climate, for example reducing the emissions of carbon dioxide and other gases relevant to climate change. They will show how we need to change and adapt to protect our lives and livelihoods in the changed climate. And discuss how we can use science and technology to help us create a positive climate future and understand the impact we as individuals can have on our environment and climate. The talk will end with a question and answer session. Event for adults and students. Phone (053) 9196760 to book. This event is part of the WexSci Wexford Science Festival.
