Crownfest Returns for 2024

CROWNFEST TRIBUTE FESTIVAL RETURNS TO WEXFORD JUNE BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND – THIRD DAY ADDED WITH MORE THAN 15 ARTISTS SET TO PERFORM

If you want to see some of the world’s biggest bands, you might think the only option is to spend hundreds of euros on a coveted ticket to one of the major festivals. But fear not, you don’t need to leave Wexford to hear some of your favourite songs this summer, as Crownfest, returns to Wexford town June Bank Holiday weekend.

The festival is now in its second year and is expected to host over 15 tribute artists, with rockstars, pop powerhouses and country all being emulated on the main stage with an added DAY 3.

Over the three days, groups impersonating rock bands such as THIN LIZZY, GUNS N ROSES, QWEEN, AC/DC, FLEETWOOD MAC, COLDPLAY and METALLICA will take to the stage.  There will also be pop-tastic and country performances from ABBA, CHER, ROD STEWART, DOLLY PARTON and GARTH BROOKS tribute artists.

The festival hopes to celebrate ‘artists from both past and present’, with songs dating back to the 1950s right up to today’s chart-topping hits.

Fans can expect to hear music from live bands and singers from across the decades from 5pm and into late night all weekend.

The event, which made its debut in last year, will this year take place under a stretch tent at carpark of the Crown Bar in Wexford Town with an outdoor bar and street food vendors.

Crownfest takes place in Wexford town, from Friday, May 31 to Sunday, June 2.

You can book tickets online here and make a weekend of it.
