Glass Casting Workshop

Spring Workshop!

 

I will be running an open face casting workshop on Saturday, the 16th of May. This is a great introduction to casting with glass and will cover the basics of mould making, measuring your glass and firing your work. We will use clay to create forms for refractory moulds. These are then ‘packed’ with glass and fired to shape the glass.

I will have templates and walk you through the process, but if you are feeling creative, there is room for your ideas, too!

 

The workshop will run from 9:30 am to 5 pm Lunch and all materials are included.

Complete beginners welcome!

 

Unfortunately, this workshop is not fully accessible. We will be using the toilet facilities of a private residence. Increased access is a concern for me as I develop my studio, and I apologise if my current setup is not accessible for you.
