Turf Hut Walk near Mount Leinster
This is a two or three hour looped walk by an old concrete hut once used by turf-cutters and now serves as a shelter for walkers and sheep alike. The walk offers great views of counties Wexford, Carlow and Wicklow. On a clear day the mountains of Wales can be seen.
See website for GPS waypoints, map and photos.
Even small parts of this walk are worth doing for the fine views. Some people prefer to do this walk in a clockwise direction, which offers a slightly gentler climb. This is also an excellent way of climbing to Mount Leinster.
