Launch of New Ross Nollaig 2015
Saturday 21st November from 2pm
The run-up to Christmas begins in earnest for New Ross on Saturday 21st November with the arrival of Santa Claus to town. He will begin his journey at Dermot Kehoe’s DIY in Woodbine Business Park at 2.00pm. Santa will have New Ross and Rosbercon lit up for Christmas and he’ll be leaving a couple of elves behind to pass out some Random Acts of Christmas every weekend until the big day!
Lots of people will be out to cheer Santa Claus on when he arrives on Saturday 21st November in New Ross. At approximately 4.00pm Santa and his Elves along with Mikey & Sully from Monster Sync, Captain Hook and Peppa Pig will leave in his sleigh and parade from St Mary’ & Michaels Parish Church down Robert Street, across South Street to the tholsel on Quay Street. The parade will be led by members of the New Ross & District Pipe Band.
There will be a prize for the best dressed elf, goodies and the events along with local entertainment provided by the HFC Brass Band.
'Mega Inflatable Saturdays' are also coming to New Ross on Saturday 28th November and Saturday 5th December, with plenty of free fun and music for all on the quayside between 12pm & 4pm.
The Santa World Experience will be open from 12pm at the Dunbrody Visitors Centre and Booking is Essential - find out more about that here.
Look out for the Christmas Elves and their 'Random Acts of Christmas' every weekend until the big day!
