“Curlews in Crisis: could we really lose the Curlew from Ireland?” is the title of Wexford Naturalists’ Field Club’s November lecture which takes place on Thursday 7th at 8pm in The Pumphouse, Wexford Wildfowl Reserve.
In this presentation Dr Barry O’Donoghue, Head of National Parks and Wildlife Service Agri-Ecology unit, will outline the steps being taken to prevent the extinction of the curlew as a breeding species in Ireland.
