Ballycross Apple Farm

Ballycross Apple Farm is a hidden treasure with its beautiful stone courtyard, horses’ heads bowing in and out of their stables, the chirping of birds and the wafting smell of home baked waffles. It is a perfect place to enjoy an afternoon with your family. The highlight for many are the walks through the apple, blackcurrant and pumpkin fields particularly as each crop is flowering or close to harvest.

There is a very informal atmosphere at Ballycross where people meet and chat and where kids make new friends. The Waffle Bar is extremely popular so come early to avoid the rush. The Farm Shop is packed with a selection of different varieties of apples and homemade apple juices. They also stock some excellent chutneys and jams and some complimentary items.

On their day at Kia Ora Mini Farm, the children can hold and feed a variety of live pet animals such as rabbits, poultry, sheep, pot bellied pigs - Bella and Babe, Charlie the Donkey, Jack and Jill the alpacas, Larry the llama, Posh and Becks the black swans, Eddie & Betty the emus, Geoffrey the Macaw, Jessie and Belle our friendly dogs amongst many others.

Mill Road Farm

You are very welcome to Mill Road Farm, a working dairy farm situated in a quiet rural area overlooking the sea and beautiful Saltee Islands, near the charming fishing village of Kilmore Quay and only twenty minutes from Rosslare Harbour.
