Wexford - A diverse cycling location

Wexford offers cyclists stunning coastal views, off-road forest trails and idyllic rural workouts for locals and tourists.  The choice is yours! The area around Bunclody and the imposing Mount Leinster is a particular favourite location of local cycling and mountain biking clubs, which includes possibly one of Ireland's toughest climbs - the infamous Corrabut Gap.  Since Mark Cavendish and Lance Armstrong climbed Mount Leinster in the 2009 Tour of Ireland this has been a favourite spot for cycling tourism in Wexford. Be ready to be out of the saddle early! For the casual cyclist the humble bike is a great way to see the real rural Wexford landscape and unique locations such as the Raven Wildlife Reserve.
